About

Building in the open.

LVSoftwares is the independent software house behind linhvu.net — developer tools, backend services, and the infrastructure that runs them.

LVSoftwares owns the whole stack. One week it’s a VS Code extension for a database, the next it’s a Go service or a developer utility — whatever problem refuses to leave us alone. Staying independent means we make the trade-offs we can live with — and live with the ones we make.

This site is our public shelf. Today that shelf holds the VS Code extensions — PostgreSQL, MySQL, NATS, Oracle, Redis and git history — but the workshop behind them is much broader.

What we work on

Developer tools

VS Code extensions that make databases, messaging and git feel native to the editor. The public face of this site.

Backend services

Go and TypeScript services, CLI utilities and automation — small programs that do one job well and stay out of your way.

Self-hosted infrastructure

Databases, message queues, monitoring, CI — run on our own stack, because operating software is the best way to understand it.

Experiments & side quests

AI tools, games and small applications. Private until they’re worth your attention — then they end up on this shelf.

How we work

The rule is simple: every tool must be one we actually use. Nothing ships unless it survives real daily work first — running on real infrastructure, against real databases, in real production.

We sweat the details most people never notice: keyboard shortcuts that don’t fight you, results panels that render fast, credentials that stay in your keychain — never on someone else’s server. There is no server of ours.

What we build with

  • TypeScript
  • Go
  • Kotlin
  • VS Code Extension API
  • Node.js
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • NATS / JetStream
  • Oracle Database
  • Docker

Free by default

Everything we publish has a free version — free for personal and company use, no business license required. Where a Pro tier exists, it exists to keep the free version alive — and it’s always optional: a way to say thanks for the work, not a toll to pay.

Many projects stay private until they’re ready. If it’s on this site, you can rely on it.
